Hi everyone On Sunday afternoon me and some friends went to Ikea here in London.
They played Heather's cover of the Beatles' 'We can work it out' over the loud speakers
and the moment I heard it I shouted : "Heather Nova" out of shock and sheer pleasure.
I think everyone in that store thought I was mad. It is the first time I ever heard Heather
in England other than in my bedroom or at a gig. She made my day! Funny how excited
a person can get if you realise the guy at the other end controlling the music also knows
Heather Nova (or maybe he doens't even give a damn- but I wanted to find out.). I even
thought of going up to the manager's office (or whatever they call it) to meet this kind stranger
who made my day. But then my friends suggested I rather go lie down on one of the couches,
seeing that my head didn't feel that well !!!!! Grrr...
